Tuskers joins the Northern Lights show across Southern Ontario

Later this evening, all southern Ontario including Niagara Falls witnessed Northern Lights also known as Aurora Borealis. Northern Lights are natural phenomenon which shows up in the Northern skies usually more visible in polar regions caused by Coronal Mass Ejections(aka CME) disruptions to the earths magnetic orientation. Some CMEs are large enough to cause larger magnetic polarization which cause Aurora shows to further push down to South and visible across North America, hence southern parts of Ontario. This time, it was visible all around Europe and North America.

There are a lot of social media communities provide updates about Northern Lights. Unlike planets weather, space weather is not very easy predict as it is impacted by a lot of variables and cosmic entities. Most of the times, we measure CME hits by outer satellites. This time, the CME was so strong and the Bz magnetic orientation of the Earth was so favourable to create the strongest Aurora show in the decade.

Tuskers family gathered in Niagara Falls to view the show together. A few other players had also travelled far North to enjoy  a more clear view of the nature’s light show.
